Laguna™ Water Burial Adult Urn

A large white flower blooms from the top of the Laguna Water Burial Adult Urn, giving a water ceremony a soft, beautiful focal point. It holds the full remains of an adult and is designed to return naturally to the water.

Crafted from eco-friendly, biodegradable paper, it is made to return gently to the earth or water with no lasting impact on the environment.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if this urn is the right size?

Funeral directors typically recommend about one cubic inch per pound of body weight before cremation. At 290 cubic inches, this urn works for most adults up to around 290 pounds.

Do I need permission for a sea burial?

No permit is needed in advance for U.S. ocean burial, but it must happen at least three nautical miles from land and be reported to the EPA within 30 days. Inland waters often have their own rules, so check locally.

Does this urn need special care?

Handle it gently and keep it dry. Avoid damp rooms, basements and direct sunlight so it stays in good condition until the day of the service.

Can I get this urn in time for a service?

Yes, we move quickly. Weekday orders placed by 1:00 PM CST ship the same business day, and orders after the cutoff ship the next business day. Business hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
